About Us
Originally from Orange County California, the Smiths purchased Parchers Resort & South Lake Landing in 2006. During their first 16 seasons on the mountain they made major improvements to both the facilities and the services offered to their guests, reestablishing Parchers Resort & South Lake Bishop as premier destinations for hiking, trout fishing, photography, and backpacking in the Eastern Sierra.
In 2022 the Smith family renewed their commitment to their beloved Bishop Creek Canyon by adding Lake Sabrina Boat Landing to the Parchers Resort family. With much gratitude and appreciation, the Smiths are thrilled to begin this new chapter in their High Sierra adventure.
Their number one goal is to help you and your family enjoy the epic grandeur of the Eastern Sierra as much as they do and to honor the rich history of the Bishop Creek Canyon.
